Johnston County Tax Administration is seeking a full-time Tax Appraisal Statistician to lead statistical model development and value analyses for commercial properties. The role requires deep knowledge of real property appraisal, quantitative methods, and CAMA systems to support revaluation efforts.

The ideal candidate will manage predictive modeling projects, provide technical guidance, and ensure valuations meet NC tax laws and appraisal standards.

Qualificações

• Associate degree plus four years of appraisal experience or equivalent.
• Experience in mass appraisal of commercial property and using income approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Leads the development and implementation of statistical model building.
• Manages all aspects of predictive modeling projects.
• Provides technical support for users on statistical software and analysis.
• Prepares charts, graphs, spreadsheets and maps showing market data.
• Analyzes factors influencing market value and integrates findings into models.
• Designs and features projections for portions of the schedules of value.
• Integrates models into the Schedule of Values and tests variable effectiveness.
• Analyzes and interprets geographic data for valuation.
• Converts data from database file structures for analysis.
• Develops analytical plans to evaluate market data impact on tax value.
• Automates analytics to streamline value derivation.
• Assists with revaluation assessments to deliver accurate values.
• Updates assessment records in CAMA system and manages staff workflow.
