Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Eight years of tax accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of assigned tax specialty.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract financial data from various tax, accounting, and information systems to perform analyses; review and/or prepare tax returns, tax provisions, and financial and management reports.
• Draft and/or review technical memos and outlines.
• Develop non-standard reports and statements.
• Lead assigned projects including integration of new tax laws and accounting principles; research complex tax law and accounting principles.
• Monitor tax law to ensure data integrity.
• Perform special analysis and projects as requested.
• Offer leadership and direction to others.
• Assist in evaluating processes for operational efficiencies and risk management.
• Proactively develop tax analysis and reports with understanding of the business.
