Job summary

AutoNation in Las Vegas seeks a Lead Automotive Tag & Title Associate to ensure timely processing of tag and title paperwork for sales customers and support junior associates. You will visit county/state offices as needed, maintain organized files, handle inquiries, stay current with laws, prepare documents, and assist with month-end accounting and audits.

This role requires a high school diploma, strong typing (50 wpm), excellent communication, and a customer-service mindset; compensation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to prioritize tasks and organize schedules.
• Basic working knowledge of automotive accounting.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Previous tag and title experience preferred.
• Must type a minimum of 50 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Process tag and title paperwork for sales customers in a timely manner.
• Visit county/state tag offices as needed to expedite applications.
• Maintain organized files for all vehicle inventory and MSO for new vehicles.
• Handle inquiries from customers and sales staff about tag and title matters.
• Stay current with applicable tag and title laws and regulations.
• Prepare tag and title documents and submit all legal transfer forms.
• Issue stock numbers and manage stock for used vehicles.
• Prepare checks to purchase used vehicles and input inventory data.
• Maintain trade-in jackets and update name/address files regularly.
• Assist with end-of-month accounting reports and annual audit tasks.
