Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with fire detection and signaling systems.
  • 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and state licensing.

Location: Houston, TX

Summary:

As a Lead Systems Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and/or installing commercial integrated systems, including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. You should possess strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Complete system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
  • Service and install basic to advanced network devices.
  • Manage routing and scheduling for commercial service jobs.

What You'll Need:

  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience with fire detection and signaling systems (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV, access control). 5+ years of industry experience is preferred.
  • Certification / License: Valid driver’s license. State licensing. ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent preferred. NICET Fire or Video Level 2 preferred.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with various individuals professionally to provide superior customer service.
  • Technical: Assist in designing integrated systems; understand software and programming for primary manufacturers used by the branch. Capable of deciphering and designing integrated systems in accordance with local jurisdiction requirements.
