Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a lead Technical Program Manager to drive the engineering development of new wind turbine designs and market introductions in Greenville, SC. You will own program schedules, budgets, resources, design reviews, tollgates, and lifecycle management, coordinating with System Engineers and Product Managers to deliver world‑class turbines.

The role requires 3+ years in program management or renewable energy, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and relocation to Greenville.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and update of integrated program schedule, budget, resource identification, and priority discussions for medium sized NPI programs from conception through product sunset.
  • Coordinate deliverables, execution, and detailed schedules with Subsystem Program Managers to upscale visibility to critical path activities.
  • Provide cross-functional product leadership, working across Sourcing, Manufacturing, Projects, Services, and external parties to ensure that critical product development milestones are achieved.
  • Facilitate issue resolution with close connection to the product Systems Engineer and Product Manager, including development of contingency plans and scenario planning.
  • Lead communication and escalation of programmatic and technical risks to the program.
  • Lead coordination for change management execution to the product bill of materials.
  • Assure compliance to engineering processes to maintain a high-quality standard of work outputs.

Job Description Summary

The Fleet Platform Systems Engineering team is seeking a lead Technical Program Manager with demonstrated new product introduction expertise to lead the execution of new wind turbine programs. The Technical Program Manager will have responsibility for leading execution of the engineering development of new wind turbine designs, upgrades, features, and market introductions.

A successful Technical Program Manager is self-starting, independent, and demonstrates ownership over program schedule, budget, and resource identification including deliverables such as design reviews, tollgates, bill of material releases, product documentation, validation, lifecycle management, and lessons learned implementation. They will work closely with System Engineers, Product Line Managers, Subsystem Program Managers, Sourcing, and Configuration Management to maintain a tightly interconnected team working towards the common goal of developing world-class wind turbines.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus. This posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after it was posted on August 27, 2026.
