Job summary

Innomotics is seeking an experienced Systems and Solutions Project Engineer to lead the technical execution of integrated drive, motor, and power system projects in New Kensington, PA. You will ensure designs meet schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years in electrical engineering with drive systems, power distribution, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering focused on drive systems, motors, power systems, or equipment integration.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, control systems, and power distribution.
• Experience with system integration, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for system and solution projects involving drives, motors, switchgear, transformers, control systems, and related equipment.
• Define system integration requirements and ensure designs meet performance, quality, safety, and contractual specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support successful project execution.
• Monitor engineering activities, identify technical risks, and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Support procurement, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop, review, and manage project technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, submittals, and test reports.
• Provide technical guidance to field service teams during installation and startup.
• Support sales activities by providing technical input and estimates for customer proposals.
