Job summary

Innomotics is seeking a Systems and Solutions Project Engineer to lead the technical execution of integrated drive, motor, and power system projects at the New Kensington, PA facility. Local candidates are preferred.

You will define system integration requirements, coordinate with PMs, customers, and suppliers, and ensure designs meet performance and contractual specs while supporting procurement, testing, and commissioning activities. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years in electrical engineering focused on drive systems, motors, or power systems.
• Strong knowledge of control systems and power distribution.
• Experience with system integration, testing, and commissioning.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of integrated drive, motor, and power system projects.
• Define system integration requirements and ensure designs meet performance, quality, safety, and contractual specs.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor engineering activities and mitigate technical risks to keep projects on schedule.
• Support procurement, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Develop and manage project technical documentation and test reports.
• Provide technical guidance to field service teams during installation and startup.
• Support sales activities by providing technical input for customer proposals.
