The role focuses on dynamic modeling, control algorithm design, and integration with avionics and software teams to deliver robust propulsion solutions.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years of Systems Engineering/Analysis (or 7+ with a Graduate Degree) and strong Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ skills, plus the ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field with 9+ years Systems Engineer/Analysis experience or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• 3 years of control system analysis experience required.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, and propulsion theory highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Dynamic modeling and simulation, design of control algorithms for propulsion systems.
• Modeling actuation systems and performing steady-state/transient analyses.
• Develop requirements allocation and coordinate with avionics/software teams.
• Support propulsion hardware/software testing, including test plans and data analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in offsite testing as needed.
