Job summary
Del Valle Independent School District Central Administration - Technology seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to oversee the district’s virtual server infrastructure, core enterprise services, and cybersecurity posture. You will lead Active Directory, Group Policy, M365, and shared resources while coordinating with the Director of Network Services.
The role requires strong Windows Server, VMware, and network services knowledge, plus excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or verifiable work experience.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record.
- Fingerprint background check clearance (non-refundable fee ~$50).
Responsibilities
- Lead administrator for a complex virtual environment and core infrastructure services.
- Manage domain ownership, SSL certificates, and service uptime.
- Serve as backup to Director of Network Services for major operations and outages.
- Plan and implement infrastructure and security improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
