Job summary

POLYTECH School District is seeking a Network and Systems Engineer to maintain the district's servers, VMware environment, and IT infrastructure. The role supports Infinite Campus, pupil accounting, student data, and required reporting needs.

You will manage network switches, firewalls, VoIP, and security tools, assist with system upgrades, backups, and data transfers, and provide technical assistance to staff while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college.
• 3+ years in network management, systems support, or related tech.
• Experience supporting a student information system (Infinite Campus) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain district servers (VMware) and ensure security and updates.
• Manage network switches, firewalls, wireless, and remote access.
• Support Infinite Campus setup, data reporting, and user access.
• Provide AV and PHP/MySQL Self Service Portal support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
