Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the F/A-18 SEIT team. You will lead cross‑functional integration to drive engineering excellence in software development and advanced systems activities.

This role requires end‑to‑end systems engineering, requirements management, and collaboration with US Navy and program teams. Travel up to 10% and U.S. security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field is required.
• 9+ years of related engineering experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with system design, requirements development, verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration across engineering and program teams to ensure safety, technical excellence and product integrity.
• Manage requirements with full traceability and configuration of the integrated system.
• Develop partnerships with US Navy and program management to drive collaboration.
• Oversee technical baseline, performance measures, architecture diagrams and RIO assessments.
• Investigate System Anomaly Reports and drive prompt resolution with Mission Systems.
• Lead software configuration management, ECPs and engineering change processes; present at EBRs/CCBs.
• Direct Interface Control Working Group and maintain Mission Systems Architecture Diagrams.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
