Job summary

Laurel, MD-based Lentech Inc. is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to own enterprise architecture design and requirements engineering for both on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will author and defend technical documentation, guide feasibility studies, and lead integration efforts with program managers and executives to ensure technical integrity and alignment with CONOPS, SRS, and SEMPs.

Qualifications

• Active and current TS.SCI w/FSP.
• 14+ years of systems engineering and IT architecture experience.
• Experience designing and managing technical architectures for on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Proven ability to lead complex network infrastructure and end‑user computing solutions at scale.
• Mastery in authoring formal SE artifacts including CONOPS, SRS, SDDs, SEMPs, and Test Plans.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience briefing executives on architectural trade‑offs.

Responsibilities

• Author, review, and maintain repeatable System Architecture and design documentation for IT environments.
• Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and high‑level architectures to derive formal, testable system requirements.
• Architect and optimize complex infrastructures operating on‑premises and off‑premises.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Serve as technical lead for integration of requirements, system design, and emerging technologies.
• Prepare and defend technical documentation in TEMs and executive reviews.
