Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst onsite in Boston, MA to lead the design of scalable trading systems. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include building architecture diagrams, writing SQL queries, leveraging KDB+/Q, and driving cloud deployment patterns in AWS. You will guide analytics in trading environments and manage work items using JIRA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in Systems Analysis and Project Management.
• Hands‑on experience with complex distributed systems, ideally in trading or fintech environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience working on large data sets for analytics.
• Familiarity with KDB+ and Q is a plus.
• Knowledge of SDLC tools (JIRA, Confluence) and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with architecture and system workflow diagramming tools (Visio, Draw.io).
• Understanding of Linux/Unix environments and basic scripting.
• Experience with cloud deployment patterns, especially in AWS.
• Knowledge of AI developer assist tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Maven).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable, resilient trading systems that meet business needs and performance standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop architectural and system workflow diagrams to visualize complex processes.
• Write and refine SQL queries, analyze large data sets, and utilize KDB/Q skills to support data-driven decision making.
• Drive innovation by learning new technologies including GenAI tools and cloud deployment patterns in AWS.
• Support and troubleshoot production and non-production trading environments.
• Manage work items (JIRA epics, stories), facilitate stakeholder discussions, and ensure timely delivery of system features.
• Become a subject matter expert of electronic trading analytics applications.
