Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System at Broadmoor Campus is seeking a Team Lead Systems Administration to drive implementation, optimization, and operational support for assigned areas. The Lead mentors staff and ensures best practices across projects and operations.

This role partners with clinical and operational stakeholders to improve patient care, workflows, and efficiency through robust lifecycle management and collaboration with informatics, training, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years as analyst or sysadmin, or 10 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Epic applications or similar healthcare IT platforms.
• Strong collaboration with operations, informatics, and training teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary lead for an assigned area with accountability for performance and delivery.
• Oversee application lifecycle management including planning, implementation, and maintenance.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to align with goals and strategies.
• Develop implementation strategies, timelines, and deliverables across projects and operations.
• Ensure adherence to change management, release management, and governance standards.
• Lead post–go-live activities and promote user adoption.
