Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Senior Hardware Program Manager in Santa Clara, CA to lead a large engineering team across U.S. sites.

You will own the full people lifecycle, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development while driving high-performance culture. Responsibilities include overseeing long-term hardware programs, managing schedules and resources, and ensuring executive visibility through governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years directly managing teams of 20+ (30–50 preferred).
• Proven success hiring, developing, and retaining top U.S. engineering talent.
• Excellent English communication skills with inter-personal skills.
• Experience leading across U.S. sites and time zones; comfort with matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 30–50 engineers and program managers across U.S. sites.
• Own the full people lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance, career development, and succession planning.
• Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture grounded in accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee long-term hardware programs: timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks through structured prioritization.
• Ensure executive visibility through clear governance and reporting cadence.
