City of Haines City is seeking a lead IT professional to plan, configure, maintain, and support the City’s network, servers, security, desktop, AV, and communications systems. The role involves writing scripts, responding to log entries, and ensuring secure, integrated IT operations.

Minimum seven years in IT with three in hands-on design and management of networks and security; MCSE/CCNA preferred. This is a full-time on-site position with on-call rotations and potential budget duties.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of work-related experience; 3+ years in design, management, and support of IT systems.
• MCSE and/or CCNA certifications preferred.
• Ability to read/write technical manuals, analyze data, and prepare budgets.

Aufgaben

• Plan, configure, maintain, and support the city's network, servers, security, desktop, AV, and communication systems.
• Assist with project, vendor contract, asset, and license tracking; prepare RFQ/RFPs and cost analyses.
• Coordinate and implement IT support and training; troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Assist with annual Technology Management Department budget forecasting and procurement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Must stay current with Fed/State/City regulations and maintain professional relationships.
