Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned architect to drive architectural design across application components and subsystems. You will shape interfaces, subsystems, and solution architectures, ensuring alignment with a shared technical direction and ambitious NFRs.

You will enable the CDP, participate in planning, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to realize enablers. The role requires hands-on experience with Python, C#, Robot Framework, AWS services, and data-layer technologies such as

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math.
5 years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Experience with Python and C#.
Experience with Robot Framework.
Experience with AWS Batch, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Athena.
Experience with SQL Lite and Snowflake DB.
Experience with JupyterHub.

Responsibilities

Define designs and provide technical enablement for application components and subsystems.
Drive important design decisions for the development team.
Elaborate designs and interfaces for specific components.
Define subsystems and interfaces, allocate responsibilities, and communicate interaction requirements.
Align development teams to a shared technical direction and elaborate solutions and interfaces.
Validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation alternatives.
Establish critical solution-level NFRs and participate in defining others.
Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of system solutions.
Develop the Architectural Runway for new business features and capabilities.
Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Enterprise Architects to develop, analyze, split, and realize enablers.
Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, and retrospective workshops.
Assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms.
