Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an SMTS System Architect for Analog & Mixed Signal Products in Richardson, TX. You will serve as the technical leader for Analog ASSP families, define long-term strategy, and drive system architecture decisions across multiple product generations.

You will lead cross-functional teams across design, validation, product engineering, manufacturing, and applications, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Track record leading complex product developments and driving business impact through technical innovation.
• Expert knowledge of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor systems.
• Strong background in power management, sensing, signal conditioning, and data conversion.
• Proven technical leadership of complex cross-functional programs.
• Customer-facing architecture leadership and executive-level communication.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term product and technology roadmaps for Analog ASSP solutions.
• Lead system architecture development for PMICs, motor drivers, protection and batteries management.
• Own system-level tradeoffs across performance, power, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and functional safety.
• Lead cross-functional teams across design, validation, product engineering, manufacturing, and applications.
• Drive product differentiation through innovation, competitive benchmarking, and technology assessments.
• Act as senior technical interface for strategic customers and partners.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across sites and organizations.
