Job summary

GlobalFoundries in the United States is seeking a Design Manager for Smart Analog & Sensors to lead architecture, design, and execution of complex mixed-signal SoCs for automotive and industrial sensing applications.

The role focuses on digital subsystem design, IP integration, and end-to-end SoC realization, with leadership across RTL, IP strategy, and system integration. Excellent collaboration across cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• SoC architecture leadership and digital design leadership.
• Define and drive SoC architecture for Smart Sensor platforms.
• Lead top-level SoC integration across digital, analog, and software domains.
• Drive hardware/software co-design, aligning system architecture with firmware and application requirements.
• IP strategy: development, selection, and integration of internal and 3rd-party IP.
• RTL execution, design quality, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and execution of complex mixed-signal SoCs.
• Oversee digital subsystem design, IP integration, and end-to-end tapeout.
• Drive IP qualification, integration methodology, and interoperability.
• Coordinate RTL, DFT, PD handoffs and design-for-quality checks.
• Own end-to-end SoC program from specification to silicon bring-up.
• Collaborate with verification, product engineering, and systems teams.
