Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Austin seeks a Design Manager for Smart Analog & Sensors to lead architecture, design, and execution of complex mixed-signal SoCs. You will focus on digital subsystems, IP integration, and end-to-end realization for sensing-driven applications, coordinating analog/sensor content as system integration.

The role spans RTL design and SoC integration across teams. You will drive hardware/software co-design, oversee IP qualification, and ensure high-quality handoff to DV and PD

Qualifications

• Leadership in SoC architecture and digital design leadership.
• Experience in IP selection, reuse, and integration across programs.
• Proven RTL design leadership with end-to-end SoC integration experience.
• Experience driving hardware/software co-design and system modeling.
• Ability to integrate analog/sensor subsystems into digital frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive SoC architecture for Smart Sensor platforms including MCU/DSP/AI accelerators.
• Own development, selection, and integration of internal and 3rd-party IP.
• Lead RTL micro-architecture, implementation, and subsystem integration.
• Oversee end-to-end SoC program execution from spec to tapeout and bring-up.
• Integrate analog/sensor subsystems into the digital SoC framework and optimize data paths.
