Job summary

Highridge Medical LLC is seeking an Sr R&D Swiss Machinist to lead the Swiss department in the R&D prototype shop. You will program, set up, and operate Swiss CNC equipment, collaborating with engineering on design for manufacturing and overseeing materials, calibration, and maintenance.

The role requires at least 5 years of Swiss-type CNC experience and a strong ability to work from drawings while producing high-quality prototype components and fixtures for spine-related products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years operating Swiss Type CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Swiss department in the R&D prototype shop.
• Program, set up, and operate Swiss CNC equipment.
• Review CAD drawings and collaborate with engineering on design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Manage materials, equipment calibration, maintenance, and department budget.
• Support product development with prototype parts, fixtures, and test fixturing.
