Job summary

Atlanta Swim Academy is seeking Swim Instructors to start immediately and help students learn water safety through structured, age-appropriate progression. You will lead small groups, plan lessons, and coach with positive reinforcement to build confidence and skill in every swimmer.

You will gain leadership, communication, and group-management skills within a supportive team and growth-oriented environment, with opportunities for advancement as the program scales.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or coaching swimming preferred.
• Excellent communication with children and adults.
• Ability to lead and motivate swimmers.
• Availability for weekend shifts (at least one 4-hour shift on Sat or Sun) and two weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead small groups (1-4) of swimmers through progressive skills.
• Plan and organize class time with lesson plans.
• Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
• Provide consistency in instruction by teaching each assigned lesson.
• Communicate progress with parents and swimmers.
• Cooperate with teammates and participate in trainings.
• Enforce facility policies and safety rules.
• Cover all material required in a level.
