Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Team Leader for Survey in Lubbock or Midland.

The candidate will manage and mentor the survey team, oversee project delivery, and grow client relationships across West Texas. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Surveying/Geomatics/Civil Engineering, 3+ years of survey project management, Texas RPLS (or willingness to obtain within a year), and proficiency in Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of survey project management experience.
• Licensed RPLS in Texas (or able to obtain within one year).
• Experience managing large-scale survey projects and supervising field and office staff.
• Strong knowledge of boundary and right-of-way resolution.
• Experience preparing proposals and supporting business development efforts.
• Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to work independently while mentoring and developing junior staff.
• Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Experience with West Texas municipalities and clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Survey Teams in West Texas to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Oversee project management and client relations for current and future projects.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and manage sub consultants.
• Drive business development and market presence in West Texas.
