Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Director of Survey for South Texas to lead and grow the Survey Practice across multiple Texas offices. The role combines leadership, technical excellence, and business growth to deliver high-quality survey work and strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in land surveying with at least 5 years as an RPLS, and Texas licensure with ability to obtain other states. The position offers ownership potential and career development within Halff.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or associate's degree.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in land surveying or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Licensed RPLS in the Survey field.
• Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in Texas and ability to obtain other states.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams on large, complex projects.
• Strong understanding of survey operations, project financials, and resource management.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and regional pursuits.
• Ability to align technical excellence with strategic and operational objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support multiple surveying teams through Team Leaders and Senior Team Leaders.
• Balance operational leadership with strategic growth, sales, and client development.
• Oversee financial performance, staffing, scheduling, quality control, and workshare across survey teams.
• Provide technical leadership in surveying, ensuring adherence to QA/QC standards and best practices.
• Drive regional and local growth initiatives within land surveying, geomatics, and related services.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on complex and highprofile surveying projects.
• Mentor and develop senior survey staff, supporting performance, career growth, and retention.
• Collaborate closely with operations managers, practice leaders, and HR on staffing, hiring, and resource planning.
