Job summary

Cinterra seeks a Survey Party Chief to direct and supervise the survey crew, ensuring precise measurements and site layouts to support engineering and construction activities. You will provide data on land features, elevations, and boundaries to guide installation, while coordinating with engineers, clients, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities include verifying data accuracy, preparing maps and reports, and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in construction with layout or survey responsibilities.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to complete pre-employment checks as required (background, drug screen, MVR).
• NCCER Site Layout / Site Leadership qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise survey crew to provide accurate site layouts for installation.
• Verify accuracy of survey data and measurements at sites.
• Calculate elevations, positions, and boundaries using surveying instruments.
• Prepare sketches, maps, and reports describing surveys and legal descriptions.
• Maintain safety and train crew on safety procedures; lead toolbox talks.
