Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Survey Manager to lead all survey operations for heavy civil construction projects in Fort Lauderdale, with West Palm Beach as acceptable work locations.

The role includes field layout, control networks, as-built documentation, and coordination with project teams. A strong background in civil surveying and GPS/total station tools is required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction surveying experience, including leadership of survey crews on heavy civil, infrastructure, site development, bridge, marine, or public works projects.
• Strong GPS, total station, data collector, construction layout, and as-built documentation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, grading plans, utility plans, roadway plans, and construction drawings.
• Experience with survey software, field data management, machine control systems, GPS-guided grading, and construction technology platforms.
• Background supporting FDOT, public works, roadway, bridge, utility, marine, or other large infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with exposure to drone, LiDAR, or 3D modeling technology considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey operations across multiple heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee field layout, staking, control points, GPS systems, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate survey activities with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and field crews.
• Ensure survey accuracy, quality standards, equipment maintenance, and data integrity.
• Support project planning, production tracking, and construction execution through accurate field information.
