The role emphasizes QA/QC, accuracy, and collaboration with project managers to ensure timely deliverables. The position is onsite and contract-to-hire with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of land surveying office experience.
• Experience with topographic surveys, ALTA, boundary surveys, as-builts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for survey drafting.
• Ability to process field data and perform survey calculations.
• Strong QA/QC mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration with project managers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review survey drawings, maps, plats, and stakeout layouts.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Civil Suite to deliver project deliverables.
• Process field data, review deeds, plats, and legal documents.
• Perform QA/QC checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet schedules.
• Mentor junior survey staff and share best practices.
• Contribute to as-built documentation and survey products.
• Maintain organized survey base files for future reference.
