Qualifications

• Certification completion within 6 months if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff; train and coordinate scheduling for surgical techs.
• Provide intraoperative support as primary scrub person with instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterile field and prepare operating rooms for surgery.
• Assist the surgical team and participate in CQI activities.
• Count sponges, instruments, and needles; ensure patient safety.
