Responsibilities

• Preparation for surgeon-specific procedures that are timely, accurate, effective and efficient.
• Sets up sterile field and is scrubbed prior to patient entering the room.
• Sets up case to be organized for back table and mayo.
• Ensure availability of required items and resources; use efficiently.
• Collaborates with surgeon and mentors staff to prepare for procedures.
• Performs first scrub, first assist and second scrub roles and handles case closing activities.
