Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s in Denver is seeking a Lead Surgical Technician to oversee setup, aseptic technique, and instrument availability for complex procedures. You will rotate to other service areas as needed and mentor staff to maintain high care standards.

The role requires two years of surgical tech experience, Current BLS, and Colorado DORA registration; CST certification is preferred. A strong knowledge of Meditech and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification required and DORA registration for Surgical Tech.
• Registration as Surgical Tech by Colorado DORA required; CST preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Operating Room Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance during surgical procedures and set up required equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique and manage instruments, supplies, and cases.
• Lead shift operations, orient new employees, and oversee scheduling.
• Rotate to other service areas as needed and ensure competency in tasks.
