Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health (HSS at NCH) seeks an Operating Room Surgical Technician Lead to provide clinical leadership in the OR. The role supports complex procedures, ensures asepsis, and coordinates equipment and training, under RN supervision.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited Surgical Technologist program, national certification or eligibility, and BLS. This is a full-time, on-site position in Naples, FL.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologist.
• National certification or certification eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participates with the surgical team in planning and implementing complex procedures.
• Maintains asepsis in the surgical suite and monitors technique.
• Tracks implants and handles equipment per manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce waste and expense.
• Serves as primary coordinator of OR equipment and its utilization.
• Coordinates training and precepting of new OR staff.
