Qualifications

• CST certification required; BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• High School Graduate / GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years surgical tech experience preferred; leadership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments for procedures.
• Scrub in and support surgeons during complex cardiac surgeries, maintaining sterile environment.
• Mentor and supervise surgical technologists; train new team members and reinforce best practices.
• Oversee quality and safety by managing counts, handling specimens, and ensuring infection prevention standards.
• Drive teamwork and efficiency through effective communication and support for on-call and emergency cases.
