Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist III (CST III) to join an award-winning team. The CST III leads complex case preparation, assists surgeons by maintaining a sterile field, and mentors other technologists to promote patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CST training program.
• 1 year of experience in a surgical setting required.
• CST Certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead sterile preparation for complex surgeries and serve as primary scrub for complex cases.
• Coordinate operating room setup with advanced instrumentation and implants.
• Provide advanced intraoperative support and maintain sterile technique.
• Ensure accurate counts of sponges, needles, instruments, and implants; assist with case tracking.
