Qualifications

• Assist surgeons during procedures with room prep, instruments, and supplies.
• Lead surgical staff and enforce infection control and OSHA practices.
• Monitor vitals and provide support to maintain patient stability.
• Oversee preop and postop care, including discharge planning and education.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and compliant records.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and teams.
• Demonstrate suturing and perioperative knowledge for complex surgeries.
• Uphold infection prevention and sterile technique standards.
• Contribute to surgical process improvements and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons by preparing rooms, arranging instruments, and ensuring supplies.
• Lead and supervise staff with adherence to safety and infection control.
• Monitor patient status and physiological responses during procedures.
• Coordinate preoperative and postoperative activities, including discharge planning.
