HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Surgical Certified First Assistant (CFA) to actively assist surgeons and provide exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions during complex procedures. The CFA will be versed in instrumentation, aseptic technique, and case preparation across multiple specialties.

The role requires DSFA certification and DORA licensure, with eligibility to cover Robotics, Complex GI, Colorectal, Liver, Thoracic and Oncology cases.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced knowledge of the scrub role and leadership abilities.
• Good organizational and communication skills for professional interaction.
• Ability to educate staff using adult learning principles.

Aufgaben

• Assist surgeon during operations and provide exposure and hemostasis.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for cases.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist in setup and breakdown of procedures.
• Cover multiple specialties including Robotics, GI, Colorectal, Liver, Thoracic and Surgical Oncology.
• Precept and coordinate resources; be available for call across HealthONE.
