Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Lead Surgical Assistant (CFA) to actively assist surgeons during operations, ensure aseptic technique, and manage equipment and supplies. The role spans Robotics, GI, Colorectal, Liver, Thoracic, and Oncology cases, with readiness to cover multiple facilities.

Candidates must hold CSFA/ NBSTSA or NSAA/ABSA certification, a CAAHEP surgical tech program, and a current BLS certification. Strong leadership and teaching abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Surgical Assistant and CSFA certification from NBSTSA/NSAA/ABSA or equivalent.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-approved surgical technology program with ARC/STSA First Assistant accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon to provide exposure, hemostasis and tissue handling.
• Cover multiple specialties including Robotics, GI, Colorectal, Liver, Thoracic and Surgical Oncology.
• Precept, coordinate resources and be available for call across facilities as needed.
