Chalet Veterinary Clinic is seeking a skilled Certified Veterinary Technician to lead our surgical team in a busy three-doctor practice in Stoughton, Wisconsin. This leadership role focuses on surgical patient care, anesthesia management, and mentoring junior staff.

You will work closely with three veterinarians, maintain high standards of patient safety, and ensure efficient surgical workflows while preserving work-life balance. Full-time and part-time options available.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician credentials.
• Strong interest in surgery and perioperative patient care.
• Experience with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead technician for scheduled surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery and pre-anesthetic assessments.
• Induce, maintain, and monitor anesthesia under veterinarian direction.
• Monitor anesthetic parameters and patient vital signs.
• Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures.
• Post-operative monitoring and recovery.
