Job summary
One Brooklyn Health seeks an accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon to serve as Division Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery within the Department of Dental Medicine & Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. This leadership role emphasizes clinical excellence, academic medicine, and pushing the boundaries of surgical care across OBH’s Brooklyn campuses.
The Division Chief will guide clinical strategy, education, and administrative operations, overseeing activity across inpatient and outpatient
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited program is required.
- ABOMS certification or board eligibility preferred.
- New York dental license or eligibility; NY medical license desired.
- Minimum seven years OMS practice with academic leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain active OMS surgical practice across OBH campuses.
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for OMS emergencies system-wide.
- Lead the CODA-accredited OMS Residency Program oversight.
- Recruit and mentor OMS residents and faculty.
- Oversee quality assurance and infection control compliance.
