Responsibilities

• Leadership: Serves as Program Manager of the oral surgery section in the dental department
• Provides leadership, training, and guidance to GPR and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residents
• Offers oral surgery specialty consultation to dental staff and other clinical services in the hospital
• Ensures appropriate departmental orientation for oral surgery residents rotating from other facilities
• Acts as SME for complicated care in the community Oral & Maxillofacial treatment plans
• Consults with Prosthetics, OR, SPS, Biomed and Pharmacy regarding needs of the oral surgery section
• Assists in Joint Commission and other survey readiness and in achieving National Patient Safety Goals
• Work Schedule: Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
