Job summary

Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine’s Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is recruiting a full-time oral maxillofacial surgeon to be Chief of Oral Health. The role includes clinical leadership, administrative oversight for OMFS and Dentistry, and active participation in resident training and research efforts.

The candidate should hold a DDS/DMD and board certification in OMS, with credentials commensurate with an academic appointment at Associate Professor or Professor.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Academic appointment at Associate Professor or Professor level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide active OMFS clinical service and administrative oversight for OMFS and Dentistry.
• Oversee resident training, didactic and clinical instruction.
• Lead outreach, philanthropic efforts, and community engagement; promote clinically based research.
