Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders to crewmembers and select workers based on knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Assure there is enough work to keep the crew busy.
• Troubleshoot, perform maintenance and major repairs on heavy‑duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles.
• Diagnose the cause of mechanical failures and disassemble engines and major assemblies.
• Independently perform repairs with little supervision in remote locations.
• Conduct readiness and repair inspections and maintain production reports and records.
