Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated program supervisor in California to lead daily operations and ensure safety and quality service for participants. You will supervise staff, perform safety checks, and coordinate routines such as bed assignments and showers, while maintaining daily reports.

The role requires strong policy knowledge, crisis management, and the ability to work flexible hours in a challenging environment serving diverse populations.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the program policies and procedures or ability to interpret policies
• Experience preferred in similar program
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions
• General knowledge of issues unique to homelessness, substance abuse, young adults, minorities, and people with disabilities
• Experience with a range of interventions to work with clients with varying needs
• Flexibility to work irregular hours
• Willingness to function as a team member
• Computer skills required
• Valid California driver’s license
• Ability to meet the organization’s insurance carrier guidelines
• Must pass all required background clearances
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 90 days of employment
• Completion and maintenance of all required training and health clearances
