Job summary

Advanced Exhaust Solutions seeks a Lead SQA to oversee supplier quality for multiple facilities, including incoming inspection, containment, and corrective action. You will drive supplier performance, assess compliance with product specs, and lead cross-functional actions to resolve quality issues.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of GD&T, PPAP/8D, and ISO 9001 frameworks. You will mentor teams, collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing, and push continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Quality, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience (Six Sigma/Kaizen) desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead SQA across all facilities and inbound inspection.
• Ensure suppliers meet contractual requirements and product specs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, MQC, QA Receiving to disposition incoming goods.
• Oversee 100% blanket and belt inspection as required.
• Develop supplier development plans and monitor performance to AES goals.
• Manage supplier corrective/preventive actions and verify effectiveness.
• Provide training on AES quality requirements and process improvements.
• Create and maintain supplier metrics and scorecards.
