Job summary

IAC Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier qualification and drive continuous improvement for automotive components. You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure supplier readiness and robust quality systems.

The candidate should have a solid background in APQP/PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 audits, along with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience conducting supplier audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in quality tools and statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams on new product introductions, ensuring supplier readiness and capability.
• Evaluate supplier processes through audits and performance reviews; implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Establish and manage testing procedures, calibrate equipment, and maintain technical measuring protocols.
• Analyze supplier quality data, generate performance reports, and present insights to management.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for supplier-related quality issues.
• Foster supplier development initiatives to improve quality performance and reduce costs.
