Job summary

PacSci EMC in Chandler, AZ seeks a Quality Engineer focused on supplier quality to translate strategic goals into tac­tical actions. You will build strong supplier partnerships, drive audits and PCA/PPAP processes, and lead data-driven risk management.

Ideal candidates will apply AS9100 knowledge, GD&T interpretation, and advanced Excel/Power BI to create meaningful metrics and dashboards. Travel to supplier sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in supplier/manufacturing quality environments.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong ownership, communication and project management skills.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI or similar analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality performance from qualification through production.
• Develop trusted supplier relationships and drive accountability for quality and delivery.
• Lead supplier audits, source inspections and First Article Inspections.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations on flow-downs.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Drive root cause analysis and supplier development.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to identify supplier risk.
• Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and process validation.
• Contribute to Supplier Delegated Source Inspection program.
• Travel to supplier locations as needed.
