Job summary

PacSci EMC, a Ralliant Corporation operating company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to provide customer- and program-focused quality leadership across aerospace and defense programs. You will own end-to-end quality issues spanning manufacturing and the supplier base, working as a primary interface with customers and prime contractors.

You will support first article readiness, drive CAPA/8D processes, and lead root cause investigations using structured methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred; equivalent directly relevant quality engineering experience will be considered.
• Three or more years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience required; five or more years preferred.
• Aerospace and defense quality experience strongly preferred; other regulated environments may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Own quality performance for assigned customer and program portfolios, serving as primary quality interface with customers and prime contractors.
• Review proposals, statements of work, and program docs to ensure alignment with design, quality and contractual commitments.
• Partner with Program Management and cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and resolve quality risks.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of quality issues across customer, manufacturing, and supplier boundaries; drive resolution.
• Support first article readiness and AS9102/FAI requirements; implement supplier quality flow-downs.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using 5 Why, fishbone, CAPA, 8D, or similar methods.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and drive data-based decisions.
• Communicate risks, status, and actions in customer/program reviews; uphold quality and compliance voice.
