Barrios Technology is seeking a Quality Engineer II in Houston to lead supplier quality assurance, oversight procurement quality, and supplier performance management within a dynamic aerospace environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in supplier quality related roles, with strong RCCA, audits, and risk mitigation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline and 5 years of experience in supplier quality/quality engineering within aerospace or similarly regulated industries.
• Thorough knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.
• Experience conducting supplier audits, assessments, and source inspections.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, contracts, and technical requirements.
• Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), containment, preventive action, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality processes in alignment with AS9100 and contractual requirements.
• Manage supplier qualification, approval, and ongoing performance monitoring, including ASL.
• Define, review, and approve quality flow-down requirements for purchased products/services.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and surveillance for compliance.
• Perform source inspections and verification for purchased products/materials/services.
