Job summary

NowThis is seeking a Supervising Producer to lead the NowThis Impact editorial video operation in the United States, shaping coverage and formats for a social audience. You will guide daily workflows, review scripts and videos, and set priorities with editorial leadership.

You will manage editors, producers, and freelancers, ensuring accuracy, strong sourcing, and compelling storytelling while escalating legal or brand-safety concerns as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in digital media or journalism with people-management experience.
• Strong editorial judgment and storytelling in a fast-moving news environment.
• Experience managing producers, writers or other editorial staff.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Run the NowThis Impact team's day-to-day editorial video operation and turn priorities into a coverage plan.
• Decide stories, framing, formats, and where the team should focus.
• Supervise and mentor producers, associate producers, and freelancers with regular feedback.
