Job summary

Amity Foundation seeks compassionate individuals to join as Supervising Counselor. You will support the Program Director and supervise AOD Counselors within prison and re-entry programs, advancing community restoration and your own professional growth.

Responsibilities include leading six staff, monitoring performance, maintaining ARMS documentation, coordinating OMCP Mentors, and collaborating with CDCR/CCHCS staff to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years experience as a certified AOD Counselor (Counselor III or higher).
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and ARMS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching.
• Track Contractor staff performance and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor counseling staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Oversee orientation and intake for new participants.
• Coordinate and monitor relapse prevention and action plan development.
• Track participants and staff assignments and progress.
• Ensure ARMS documentation compliance.
