Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent in Southern California to oversee field execution of large-scale multifamily and affordable housing developments. You will manage projects from mobilization through turnover, coordinating with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors on walk-up, podium, and wrap-style builds valued from $40M to $100M+.

The role demands a proven track record leading full lifecycle multifamily construction, strong scheduling and sequencing

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multifamily construction projects from mobilization to turnover.
• Deep knowledge of podium, wrap, and walk-up residential construction.
• Strong scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination across trades.
• Excellent communication and leadership to guide field teams and owners.
• Ability to identify delays and implement recovery plans while maintaining production.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations from project start through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules.
• Conduct Three-Week Look-Ahead planning.
• Drive production while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, and trade coordination.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, ownership groups, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Lead field meetings and provide project updates.
• Identify and resolve field challenges proactively.
• Maintain project milestones and schedule commitments.
